The mid-season update for Call of Duty: Warzone is upon us as Season 4 Reloaded has been officially announced. With new weapons, operators, modes, and more – here’s when it’s released and what to expect.

New weapons, new modes, a new killstreak, new cosmetics, and a new operator. Lots of things are coming to Warzone (and Black Ops Cold War) in Season 4’s Reloaded, mid-season patch.

With a confirmed release date and general patch notes released, players can get a head start on the game and find out what’s to come. Luckily we’ve got you covered.

Warzone Season 4 New Weapons Reloaded: OTs9 and Mace

A fully automatic SMG that should have great iron sights (for visibility) and easy recoil control, the OTs 9 is advertised as a direct contender for the secondary meta. Developers explain that this gun fires faster and harder than the Bullfrog, but is limited by its mag sizes.

The OTs 9 can get up to about 40 rounds in its magazine, which can be limiting depending on how fast the gun fires (apparently 100+ RPM faster than the aforementioned Bully). It will be interesting to see how it settles into the meta.

Mace: Melee (in season)

Yes, as we had heard before – a Mace is coming to Warzone. It’s big, it’s slow, and it does a lot of damage when it connects.

Warzone Season 4 Reloaded New Operator: Weaver

Look at this man, with his eyes patched up and still eager for action. Strike team leader Grigori Weaver is a NATO operator and he enjoys playing on both sides of the Cold War. Hopefully, though, he can help you play less and kill more in Verdansk.

Warzone Season 4 New Modes Reloaded: Payload, Blueprint Blitz

It is the first Warzone objective mode of all time. As seen in the World War II war mode, Payload has two teams of 20 vehicles move around to do something with satellite parts and “critical information.”

Ultimately, an attacking team guides vehicles through Checkpoints and wins the game if they do so within a set amount of time. The defenders win if they can stop the attacker, either by killing them or buying obstacles to stand in their way. Like Plunder, you already come in with your gear and Killstreaks abound.

New event type: Blueprint Blitz (in season)

Another new mode and one that should be adored by lovers of cosmetics. Blueprint Blitz will be an occasional event that will give some special Contraband contracts after players terminate two regular contracts. Allows players to unlock weapon blueprints from previous seasons that they missed.

Warzone Season 4 New Killstreak: Sentry Gun Reloaded

Forget the Shield Turret from the Warzone of yesteryear, this time the developers are deploying something legitimately useful. Like the Sentry Turret in multiplayer, we’re talking about an automated, high-powered pistol that takes out enemies within a 180-degree radius.

The Sentry Turret lasts a full minute and is very rarely found through Red Door supply boxes.
